The Narrate project was about creating a product that represented 'who I am' as a designer. As someone with long-term health issues, I am often stuck in bed which is something that happens to the majority of people in their lifetimes, especially as we get older. Eventually I created Pardis (the Persian word for garden) by Bedside Able so that people can grow their own plants right next to their bed. Studies have shown that those with long-term health issues benefit from gardening and being around nature. Now, despite being bed-bound, people can still enjoy their hobby and watch their plants grow right next to them.
